Dangerous Goods Transportation

Our business ensures the safe and orderly transportation of dangerous goods. The dangerous goods that our company is dealing with are as follows on the basis of class and UN numbers:

- UN 2915 CLASS 7
- UN 2814 CLASS 6.2
- UN 1263 CLASS 3

E Cargo also offers its business partners safe and fast transportation of radioactive sources and materials, import permits, transit procedures, legal permit and license procedures and radiation protection consultancy services.

We carry all ADR cargoes, including FLAMMABLE and FLAMMABLE substances, which fall within the scope of the European Agreement on the International Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), to which our country signed on March 22, 2010, in accordance with all requirements within the framework of the authorization obtained from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. We are safely transporting with our drivers with the Dangerous Goods transportation driver training certificate (SRC5).

Below are the Dangerous Goods that we are authorized to transport:

- Explosives Gases (Industrial gases)
- Flammable liquids (Paint, glue)
- Flammable solids (matches, cellulose fabric and fibres)
- Self-burning substances (phosphorus, pyrophorics)
- Substances that emit flammable gas when in contact with water (carbide, potassium, organometallics)
- Oxidizing (oxidizing) substances (Nitrate, perchlorate, chlorides)
- Organic peroxides
- Toxic substances (pesticides, drugs, disinfectants, tear gas)
- Infectious substances (blood, cultures, medical wastes, biological substances)
- Radioactive Substances (Radioisotopes, radioactive wastes, contaminated objects)
- Abrasive substances (Sulfuric acid, Nitric acid, caustic)
- Asbestos objects, PCB and PCTs, polymers, lithium batteries.

RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL TRANSPORT
With the entry into force of the ADR agreement, the road transport rules regarding radioactive materials were transferred from the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. This service must be carried out by institutions authorized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure under the control of TAEK. As Ekargo, we carry out the transportation of radioactive isotopes and sources and radioactive wastes for disposal in a completely safe manner with all our authorization certificates. The transportation of radioactive materials used mainly in the medical field is still carried out.

Radioactive materials can be transported within the framework of the four-digit UN numbers given by the United Nations on the basis of the following packaging models:

- Ordinary packages (Harmless radioactive contents without radioactive labels)
- Industrial Packaging Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 (LSA and SCO s)
- Type A Packaging (The most commonly used radioactive packaging)
- Type B (U) and Type B (M) packages (High value LSA and SCOs)
- Type C packages (Generally radioactive materials transported by air)
